  Rebbachisaurs. A clade of sauropods, within Diplodocoidea to be more specific, that are rather poorly understood. A few specimens of them are rather complete, but the documentation of these specimens are rather poor, for example, the holotype of Limaysaurus tessonei. Speaking of Limaysaurus, it and its proportions are going to be one of the main. Diplodocus (/ d ɪ ˈ p l ɒ d ə k ə s /, [3] [4] / d aɪ ˈ p l ɒ d ə k ə s /, [4] or / ˌ d ɪ p l oʊ ˈ d oʊ k ə s / [3]) is a genus of diplodocid sauropod dinosaurs whose fossils were first discovered in by S. W. generic name, coined by Othniel Charles Marsh in , is a neo-Latin term derived from Greek διπλός (diplos) "double" and δοκός (dokos. The popular image of these lumbering giants, placidly consuming ferns has been greatly revised in recent years. New discoveries and new theories about behavior and physiology have continued to enrich the study of these remarkable beasts. This book presents 21 new studies of the sauropods. The book is organized into four parts.
